  1. I like your blog a lot. I am interested in many of the same subjects. Our four daughters (21,17,13,10) are breastfed and homeschooled and I like the term consensual family though this is the first time I have come across it.
    I will visit often!!

  2. Hi there,

I have enjoyed reading your blog, we have similar values you and I. I am a mum of two sons (so far). I breastfeed and will not be enrolling my children into school.
It’s strange because I feel like I’m parenting the best way possible, yet somehow I feel like the odd one out amongst my family and friends (even though they are supportive of my choices).

I will continue to read you blog! Good job!

  3. Hi, Just discovered your blog and look forward to reading more! Just wondering if you had plans to join facebook? I love getting updates there.
    Thanks, Judy

    1. So far, I’ve managed to avoid Facebook. It seems full of drama, not to mention being a time suck.

  5. Is there an email address where I can contact you? I read your post about breastfeeding your daughter, and it seems like you had some of the same struggles I am having. I’d like to send you my story and see if you had any tips or insights. (You are also welcome to email me!)

  6. So excited to have found you Code Name: Mama!!!! Just subscribed to your blog! I look forward to reading your past posts!

I have allowed my primal mothering instincts to guide me with my 3.5 year old son, with whom I nurse, co-sleep, and parent gently. I have managed to avoid returning to work (by being frugal & giving up a lot of worldly luxuries) and placing him in the care of a stranger. It is unfortunate that my darling husband is constantly at odds with all of this (with parenting style rather than money being the issue).

I find support and strength to follow my instincts from blogs like yours. Thank you!

  7. Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. My fav. so far to day has been yours! thanks for sharing.
