I was thrilled to see this nursing chair, complete with the international symbol for breastfeeding, at the Children’s Museum in Chicago. It was set right in the middle of a play area so that nursing mothers could keep an eye on other children as they played. The entire museum was nursing friendly. I found a similar couch in another room. They did have a curtained room in one area, but no one was suggesting that mothers use it. I popped in for a minute to see if it was any quieter while I attempted to nurse my 1 year old to sleep. It wasn’t, but I was able to encourage a mom with a tiny baby. We slipped back out to nurse in the sling while keeping up with my husband and other children.
