If you live live in the States, you’ve probably heard about the devastating tornado that killed over 100 people in Joplin, MO, leaving others without homes or a place to work. It’s amazing the damage that can be had in just a few minutes, leaving a small town with despair and yet determination. As soon as I heard about the natural disaster, I checked with some of my contacts there to see what needed down. I know of people driving hours to help clear rubble and others who are collecting or donating money to help those in need.
Kelly Sime of Sime Photo + is graciously auctioning off one of her pieces with all proceeds going to the Joplin Public Library Staff Relief Fund. What greater cause is there for art then art for a cause?
Thanks so much for posting this.
