Skull Crayons Give Away

The day after Thanksgiving found our family in the kitchen peeling the paper off of old crayons to recycle into new crayons to give away to families in need. The kids were enthusiastic with a project they could help with. We ended up making many different shapes for various groups. Today, I am offering some to one lucky winner. The prize is two bags of skull shaped crayons – one for you to gift to someone and one to give away to someone who might not have as much during this winter season of holidays.

  1. I am a member of a non-profit that helps and encourages women in the Central Florida area to breastfeed. We make breastfeeding friendly bags and distribute them via pediatricians offices, birthing centers, and family stores. My toddler goes with me to help distribute 🙂

If we win we will donate the crowns to Bags of Hope. https://www.facebook.com/#!/BOHCFL?sk=info

    What a brilliant idea!

    Thanks!

  2. My family hosts meal nights for those in the neighborhood who may not of being able to have a good home cooked meal. We do it once a week and these crayons will go great for some lucky youngsters at church

  3. We make regular donations to the food pantry. Growing up, the food pantry was a big part of my life and I’ll always be grateful. When my son is old enough, I want him to volunteer with me there.

We’ll give the second bag of crayons to a coworker’s son. They are having a rough time and every little bit helps.

  4. We clean up and help maintain our local park where my 4 yr old plays. And we donate the toys she has grown out of. We talk about why we do it. I hope she understands some of it!

The crayons would be given to a friend of mine who is always trying to find new ways to pinch pennies. She also happens to have a thing for skulls and crossbones! You should see the things she makes for her kids!

  5. We donated to our local police toy drive this year. We’re also in the process of gathering some clothes and toys up to donate to a family that lost their house in a fire
