As my children were busy making Halloween decorations and I was finishing up the last of the costume sewing, I looked at some leftover fabric I had. It really wan’t enough to save but I hate just throwing stuff out (it wars with me decluttering self). So, instead, I turned it into a couple of ghosts.
Cut out eyes and a mouth from black construction paper (or ask your child to do so, like I did).
Tape them on a styrofoam ball.
Drape the fabric over the ball.
Stick a straight pin that has had a thread tied onto it into the ball. This holds he fabric onto the ball while giving you a way to hang the ghost.
Listen to your children walk the ghosts around the house while making wailing sounds until you hang them up.
Clever clever! And so cute with a smiley face! What did you attach the string to when hanging it up? Thanks!
